Thriving Learners has been instrumental to our daughter's success. Thea identified a learning style that has truly changed the way our 4th-grade daughter feels about school and homework. Thea has given her tools that she's able to use to succeed in class and while she's doing her school work. Now she has confidence that keeps her engaged, even during distance learning.

Before we worked with Thea, our daughter's report cards were average — mostly 3's and even some 2's in areas where she was struggling. Her report cards now are almost all 4's, and her teacher tells us that she's on par with 5th graders in her reading and writing. The confidence she exhibits alone would have been worth every minute she spends with Thea, but the grades are proof that these sessions have made all the difference in our daughter's academic success. We're so grateful!

We know first-hand how overwhelming and scary it can feel when you discover that your child has a learning disability. For me, it brought up feelings of inadequacy in my role as a parent - how do I help my kid? I felt ill-equipped. Once I began the journey of educating myself, I knew we needed some real experts to help us out! In our case, we were dealing with dyslexia. Our son has been working with Thea for the past year. His confidence has grown and he has an understanding of how his brain is wired. It's been a real gift. And as parents, we feel so grateful!
